Spectrum English and Cultural Summer Camp
The Spectrum English and Cultural Summer Camp presents its visitors with a rich experience of learning English language and Malaysian culture in the very center of the most vibrant urban and heritage community in Malaysia. The programme is a combination of classroom based practice of English communication, and interactive cultural activities, local field trips, and community life. The camp is organized to accommodate both international and local students where they can enjoy a conducive environment to facilitate quick language development, exchange of cultures and build long life time friendships. Learners will be involved in engaging projects, field trips to famous cultural centers and allowed to mingle with local communities hence making learning fun and applicable in the real world contexts.
ACTIVITIES
Participants will engage in
1. Introduction and seminar on Malaysian main kueh heritage (Malay, Chinese, Indian, Borneo)
2. Guided visit to traditional kueh industry
3. Hands-on kueh making workshop in SIUC hospitality kitchen guided by culinary expert
4. Group presentation and tasting session
5. Session on packaging and plating presentation, emphasis on traditional and modern fusion
6. Comparison on food heritage (specifically desserts) with participant’s home country
LEARNING SCOPE
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Demonstrate the knowledge of preparing traditional kueh using correct ingredients, utensils and cooking techniques.
2. Plating kueh with interesting presentation and packaging, integrating both traditional and modern charms.
3. Participate actively in group while exhibiting mutual respect for different culture and practices.
4. Associate their own culture with Malaysian heritage food culture

TechCamp Malaysia: Digitalization, Automation and AI for Learning
This technology camp equips participants with practical knowledge regarding digitalization, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) as the definitive tools in education. Through interactive workshops, demonstrations, and project-based activities, participants will learn about emerging technologies and latest applications in taking modern age learning challenges. This program highlights on practical exploration, decision making in technology adoption and strategies for connecting digital tools in improving learning quality and efficiency.

English Language Prepatory Camp (Communicate, Connect, and Explore)
This package is an enriching English-learning experience of structured language practice anchored with exposure to interactive cultural activities. Through workshops, role-play, groupwork, and outdoor challenges they will develop confidence in communicating actively in English in relevant contexts. The aim of the program is to increase fluency, confidence and creativity, as well as encourage teamwork and intercultural understanding.
