Application/Admission Process

1- Two ways to apply:

Online Application:

Paper Application: 

Download the Application Form   HERE  complete it, and submit it to Registry Office (registry@siuc.edu.my)

2- Application check list:

Completed Application Form

Completed Application Form (if you require accommodation)

Photocopy of passport with validity of at least 12 months (Two sets of clear copy of the whole passport including ALL the blank pages)

8 (Eight) passport-sized photographs with light blue background (3.5 cm x 5 cm)

2 (Two) Certified true copies of all academic qualifications (in English Translation)

No Objection Certificate (NOC) – (Only applicable to students from Sub-Sahara Africa)

Release Letter & Attendance Record from your current instiTuition (Only applicable for transferred Institute Students)

Application & Visa Processing Fees (inclusive of processing fee, medical insurance, medical screening & immigration fees) totalling RM2,500 / approx. USD850. You may pay the fees in the form of a bank draft or telegraph transfer the fee to our account or pay via our Authorised Representative

3- What Happens Next:

3.1. Once the admission officer confirms your payment and eligibility, SIUC will send you a Conditional Letter of Offer (CLO) via email.

  • This letter outlines the conditions you must fulfil to secure your place at SIUC.
  • Read the CLO carefully.
  • If you agree to the terms, sign and return the acceptance page to SIUC as instructed.
  • SIUC will submit your application for your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) to the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) in Malaysia on your behalf. This typically takes 8-10 weeks.

(NOTE: Students who are already in Malaysia on social visa are required to leave the country before submission of visa approval to EMGS).

3.2. Pre-Arrival Information

  • After obtaining the VAL from EMGS, you are required to make the first payment mentioned in your Conditional Letter of Offer (CLO) once you receive your Electronic Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) from SIUC. If you have a sponsor organization, submit a letter of guarantee from them.
  • Bring your eVAL, the acceptance letter of SIUC together with your passport to the nearest Malaysian Embassy/Consulate to apply for a Single-Entry Visa (SEV) before entering Malaysia (if applicable).

3.3.  Accommodation & Arrival

 (i). Accommodation:

Secure your accommodation before arrival. You can either book through SIUC or find it independently.

(ii). Arrival Notification:

  • Inform SIUC about your travel plans at least 7 days prior to your arrival in Malaysia.
  • Kindly take note that you must be picked up by SIUC’s representative at the airport to obtain clearance from the Immigration checkpoint.
