SIUC Engages in International Collaboration for SDG Data and Research

Spectrum International University College (SIUC) is committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through active international collaboration focused on data-driven research, knowledge exchange, and technology development. As part of this commitment, SIUC participated in the 4th International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication and Applied Informatics (ACCAI 2025) held in Chennai, India from 10–11 July 2025.

Representing SIUC, Ts. Sanmathy Annathurai, Programme Leader from the Faculty of Science and Technology, delivered a keynote address on data innovation and its role in tracking, modelling, and supporting SDG progress, particularly in education (SDG 4), infrastructure (SDG 9), and international partnerships (SDG 17).

This engagement reflects SIUC’s formal collaboration with international academic institutions to co-develop frameworks, methodologies, and research tools that support measuring SDG outcomes. The conference serves as an official, programmed activity in SIUC’s institutional calendar and will be held annually to ensure consistent contribution to international SDG dialogue and data collaboration.

The outcomes of this partnership include future joint publications, participation in research consortia, and contribution to SDG indicator tracking systems. These activities are publicly shared via the SIUC official website and communication channels to promote transparency, accountability, and ongoing impact
