SIUC Protection policy for Individuals Reporting Discrimination

Spectrum International University College (SIUC) is deeply committed to upholding the principles of equality, human dignity, and non-discrimination across all areas of its academic and professional environment. We believe that every individual has the right to learn, work, and engage in a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere, free from fear of prejudice or retaliation.

In line with this commitment, SIUC has developed and implemented a dedicated Protection Policy for Individuals Reporting Discrimination to ensure that all students, faculty, staff, and associated stakeholders are safeguarded when reporting incidents of discrimination, bias, or harassment. This policy reflects our zero-tolerance stance on discriminatory conduct and reinforces the integrity and accountability of our institutional culture.

Policy Components:
1. Protection Against Educational and Employment Disadvantage
2. Confidentiality and Anonymity
3. Secure and Transparent Reporting Channels
4. Disciplinary Measures for Retaliation
5. Awareness and Public Accessibility

This policy was formally created and approved in January 2024, following a series of internal consultations and benchmarking against international best practices. It will remain valid for a period of three years and is scheduled for formal review in 2027 to evaluate its effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with the university’s strategic goals and national legislative developments. Early reviews may be initiated if required by legal changes or stakeholder feedback
