Spectrum International University College (SIUC) actively promotes gender inclusion in academic disciplines where women have historically been underrepresented, particularly in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Through a combination of institutional outreach and external collaboration, SIUC ensures that female students are inspired, supported, and empowered to pursue education and careers in these critical fields.
As part of this effort, SIUC students actively participated in the Engineering Science Technology Exhibition (ESTE’25) hosted by MAHSA University on 5 February 2025. Among the participants were several outstanding female students who contributed to award-winning projects, helping the SIUC team secure two silver and three bronze medals. Their involvement exemplifies the university’s ongoing efforts to foster women’s confidence and visibility in STEM areas.
These efforts are aligned with the university’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 and SDG 5, focusing on quality education and gender equality. By increasing women’s applications and representation in underrepresented subjects, SIUC not only addresses gender gaps in enrolment but also contributes to a more inclusive and equitable knowledge economy.
