SIUC Establishes Long-Term Pakistan Recruitment Initiative

Spectrum International University College (SIUC) proudly announces the opening of its first international recruitment office in Toba Tek Singh, Punjab, Pakistan. This milestone marks a long term strategic initiative by SIUC to broaden access to quality higher education for underrepresented groups, particularly youth from low income, rural, and marginalised communities.

Officiated by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) Ts. Dr. Jamal Zaidi, the new facility offers academic counselling, outreach services, and a safe, inclusive space to support prospective students across Pakistan. The office is designed to serve as a permanent base for sustained outreach, with a dedicated focus on reaching underserved schools, first generation learners, and communities with limited access to international education opportunities.

To further eliminate financial barriers, SIUC has committed targeted scholarships and tuition assistance for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, making its programmes accessible and affordable. This initiative is aligned with SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).

As part of a holistic inclusion strategy, SIUC’s international recruitment effort also incorporates inclusive employment practices. The university works closely with local education consultants such as Mr. Yaseen and welcomes qualified Pakistani advisors, alumni, and professionals to participate in recruitment, counselling, and student support roles, extending inclusive hiring to international staff representation.

This long term initiative reflects SIUC’s unwavering commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education, ensuring that no student or community is left behind.
