Upon completion of this programme, the graduates will be able to:

  1. Assess in-depth theories and concepts in business.
  2. Analyse in-depth and comprehensive business knowledge to think critically in managing complex problems in business organisations using different approaches.
  3. Organise tasks/operations ethically and flexibly within business organisations with notable empathy.
  4. Demonstrate effective and creative written and oral communication and collaborative skills with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Propose relevant digital skills for work/study that includes awareness towards digital security threat.
  6. Analyse numerical and graphical data to assist decision making in work/study.
  7. Justifies action to demonstrate leadership skills and responsibility, adapting to situation, accepting diversity and being flexible in managing business organisations.
  8. Pursue self-improvement for academic and career development while enhancing emotional intelligence.
  9. Form entrepreneurship skills in resolving business problems including exploration of gig economy.

3 years

LOCAL STUDENTS

Normal Entry

1-A pass in STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any TWO subjects*;

OR

2-A pass in STAM with at least Grade Jayyid*;

OR

3-Matriculation or Foundation with at least CGPA of 2.00;

OR

4-A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with at least CGPA of 2.00;

OR

5-An Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) with at least CGPA of 2.00;

OR

6-A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval***;

OR

7-A Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board’s approval***;

  • Note for (vi) & (vii): SIUC will conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme.

OR

8-Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

*Additional requirement: A pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or equivalent qualifications. (Refer to the table of notes (*) at the end of this section.)

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

The current applied academic criteria for international students may vary for different countries. The admission criteria will be analysed for its equivalence with MQA standards.

English Competency Requirement (International Student):

Achieve a minimum Band 3 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (Low B2)**.
